If you aren't using bearing spacers you are greatly reducing the life of your bearings and sacrificing ride quality. By not using bearing spacers you can not fully tighten your axles otherwise it will cause the bearings to bend out line and either cause them to roll slower (due to the increased friction) or if you tighten them enough they won't roll at all. If you are cruising with loose hardware then fine, you don't need them. The bearings aren't built for unsecured mounting and will eventually break or wear down prematurely. If that doesn't bother you, good lucking looking for your lost bolts on the street course.

I just ride without spacer they don't seem to do squat. Supposedly they help your bearing life but my bearings are doing just fine.
