The brand new sleek USD Carbon pro Kelso skate takes over from where the Deshi Carbon skates left off to advance your skating experience that much farther ahead of the rest. The USD Kelso Carbon boot features the highest quality leather skin to protect the carbon fiber shell and is reinforced on all parts. For comfort the Kelso Carbons come with a shock absorber and an anatomically formed innersole to conform to your feet better. USD also re-worked the tongue on the boot to give it an improved fit. The Kelso skate is built on an all new FULL carbon fiber base platform. Using Powerslide's racing technology, these skates are rumored to ditch the soft and flimsy image of the old school Deshi skates. The Kelso's also feature a non-removable liner, a USD buckle, a Velcro strap to keep your foot locked in and the replaceable USD Carbon soul plate for all of your grinding needs Lightest skate available, hands down! When you try them on for the first time, you will be amazed at how light they feel on your feet.

I have skated basically everything out there in the course of 6-8 years, except Xsjado and Valo I guess... I was a Remz guy only and after the Deshi Carbon I have been a Carbon-Head. These skates right out of the box aren' t as stiff as the Deshi's. They've improved just about everything on these. From aesthetics to functionality,so far these are definitely a step forward! If you want a skate that feels like its apart of your body and ridiculously light and responsive GET THESE SKATES!!! The only way i can describe Carbon's to anyone is, if you know anything about Spider-Man, picture the Carbon boot just like the alien symbiote "Venom"... They bond with you and basically become apart of you, and allow you survive on your skates! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Well worth the money! Size DOWN also on the USD's like the other guy said! (i.e: Sz 10 Deshi Carbon would be a Sz 9 USD Carbon)

coming from valos, these skates feel like you're skating in shoes. so light and so comfy when brokin in. yes they do kill your feet in the beginning and are super stiff. and take a while to break in. :/ but all around they are really nice.
sizing: DO NOT order a size bigger. i have a 10.5 in these and i wear an 11 in nike and yet still have plenty of toe room left. i recommend ordering a half to a full size DOWN.
