I haven't bought skates in years, the roces were the last pair i had. i was glad to find that they are still durable, comfortable, skates, that if holds true, should last as the pair i had when i was kid. great all around skate, an old classic

The low, wide wheels just roll right over rocks and stuff. I do minor stairs, rails, and jumps. I have yet to break them. Came with Roces Hyper 56mm wheels & switched 'em out for 54mm/88a Walt Austins. Also added BSB Abec 7's. You will hit landings HARD in these. I added a gel shock absorber to the heels and that helps A LITTLE. The shell is durable, the clasp never broke. Medium weight. Will be a tight fit for people with chunky or wide feet. They apply pressure to the top of your foot. Takes a while to get used to it; never really did. If you like a snug fit, you'll sacrifice that for the fit. Take the brakes and brake brackets off, they get in the way. If you need to switch out your axles, you need to replace the whole frame. Never found roces brand replacements. Reg. axles are a wider diameter than Roces axles, so they don't fit through the rockers or bearing mounts. You could also replace the rockers and bearing supports, but that just makes it more hassle than it's worth, imo.

i had these a while ago and they were so sick. very comfortable, smooth, and look good. i put a gel pad shock absorber thing under the liner in the heel coz it hurt a bit when i landed apart from that they were fine. and the frames that come with these arent good i had gc dual injections i might even dig mine out and skate them again
