Description Sizing Information   The Icons 2 is the second skate of Razors Superlight (SL) generation of skates and marks a tremendous milestone in Razors' history. The skate's impressive performance stems from Razors experience in designing and manufacturing high-performance skate equipment. The main difference between the "Best Buy" set up and the regular Icons 2 team skate is the frame. The Best Buy features a price conscious Razors/Remz UFS frame which is basically a simplified UFS frame that still includes hardened steel 8mm axles, metal rockers, and Nylon anti-rockers, but don't let the price fool you as these frames are proven winners with the Razors team and can handle just as much abuse as any after market frame out there. -Baseless Boot Design: Key to the skate's revolutionary technology is its baseless boot design.This results in a significantly weight reduction of the skate (over 1 pound less weight), a lower center of gravity and it increases the responsiveness and control of the skate. -Replaceable Sliders: Two sliders on the outside of the skate hold the soul frame to the boot and can be easily and inexpensively replaced when worn. -Flat Grinding Area: A flat grinding area and smooth transition to the center groove deliver an effortless performance of tricks such as backslides, royals and front torques. The difference to traditional skates is so impressive that Brent Hicks demanded a law to ban this skate as it makes tricks too easy. -Jug Shock Absorber Footbed: A new Jug footbed combines a shock absorber and insole in one. Its oversized heel pad effectively protects the foot and a molded reinforcement provides support in the arch area. It fits inside the liner to prevent unwanted shifting or moving inside the skate. -Jug Icons 2 liner: Jug worked with Razors to design this new liner to fit perfectly in the Icon 2 skates. The liner features 50% thicker padding, increased frontal support, improved flex and ergonomically designed ankle shape and heel and tongue area shapes. These liners also include the new Jug shock absorber footbed. These improvements give this Jug liner an overall improvement in support, comfort and ease of use. Razors UFS Frames Basic Razors/Remz frames that are light weight and directional. These feature sturdy 8mm axles and metal rockers for increased durability. The frames come loaded with 56mm wheels, ABEC 3 bearings and GC 42mm Nylon anti-rocker wheels.   Features Weight of single skate: 4 lbs. No mo cults November 13, 2009 Reviewer: Rob Urban from Flint, MI United States   I have ridden Classic Razors (cults) for 10 years, tried all the others besides Nihm and Valo here and there, always went back to the classics.  Not gonna happen now.  This skate combines the best of the Genesys boot with the best of the Classic boot.  Very light, awesome flex and a better BS plate than any skate I have ever had.  And the liner, oh my god.  Most comfortable thing I have ever had on my feet.  Slap on some 50-50 core balances and some Eulogy wheels and BAM, best skate ever. Chico Jones... December 2, 2008 Reviewer: AustinG. from Houston, TX    I saw Aragon, Murda, and Dre Powell skating these at the Hoedown. Me and my friends talked to Dre Powell and we asked him how these were compared to the Aragon 2's, and he said that there were many improvements, the liner is real comfortable, and they are actually lighter than the Aragon 2's. And just from appearance, they look nothing like the Aragon 2's, besides its the same boot, but its different color, different liner. Was this review helpful to you?

ICON/ARAGON December 1, 2008 Reviewer: chico jones from Des Moines, IA United States   im giving this one star not because its a bad skate not at all. but i promiss you all this is a aragon 2 with icons on the side i compared them the name is the only difference between the two. so dont take it like im saying it is a bad skate but come on. razor a copy? rzr you need to step up your game.
