well i dissagree some of my friends have tryed the rit dye and it doesent last long i dets all scratched up and it doesent look good. however the amall die works great i have had my skates sense the end of last season and they still are the die's color with small parts of the original skate showing. i have the remz 08 03'S and i got them died black. if i were to get my next skate died i would definately go with amall. i like the way my skates look.

The purple worked great! i had to leave it in about an hour, not 10-15 minutes like it says. However, the teal didn't work at all! it came out as a dull gray blue so i went over it in purple. They turned out great though! so 4 stars! The dye also works on the liner.

Easy to use, quick, cheap, but definitly use a pot you don't care about to dye your parts, it doesn't come out! It does wear a little after grinding. But that gives it character. It looks worn, which is good. But definitly wear gloves, and don't worry about smudging them when you pull it out with your hands, they won't smudge at all if you touch them as long as you get them in cool water right away! Looks great, adds flavor (Color flavor, not taste flavor!) to you skates, and above all I had fun doing it.
