Description Sizing Information   The K2 Varsity "Featherlite Setup" pro skates feature an upgrade over the stock Varsity skates for those of you looking for an improved frame and wheel set up, especially if you are going to be doing plenty of grinding.  This set up features the Ground Control Featherlite frames, 56mm wheels, ABEC 5 bearings and GC 42mm anti-rockers. K2 breathes some new life into the look of their patented soft boot technology with their fresh looking Varsity Pro skate.  With great attention to design details, K2 took the Varsity Pro and advanced it beyond the boring black, grays and whites that can been found on a lot of aggressive skates. K2's soft boot continues to remain a favorite skate for beginner to intermediate level skaters and has kept the die hard OG skaters rolling smooth as they still have one of the lightest boot designs on the market.  K2 improved the backslide area on the Varsity skate by making it larger so that it lasts a lot longer.   Features Weight of single skate: 3 lbs. 12 oz. k2 February 13, 2010 Reviewer: Ruben from Nyc   i bought the all black fatty pro's like 2 years back and they are ok. i had the backyard bobs back in the day but i think k2 needs to rethink this design. its old technology and the brand hasnt been keeping up with other skate companies like with the removable soul plates or removable cuff. k2 was the skate to have a few years back but not anymore, i dont know why they keep putting out skates, the brand is washed up!!!!!!
