Description   Ground Control Formula One FLAT Set Up Frame System: Straight from the Ground Control think tank comes their Formula One frame design also known as the frame of the future.  The GC F1 frame is designed to be a lot more user friendly as it allows you to only need 1 allen wrench to be able to remove the axle bolts and the entire center h-block can be replaced with either a GC Formula One flat or freestyle h-block.  The strong 8mm axle bolts are fully recessed to prevent them from wearing down from grinds and to give you a smooth and flush grinding surface. The Formula One FLAT frames allow you to ride a flat set up with 57mm or less wheels (All 8 wheels touch the ground) or you can choose to skate anti-rocker wheels for the inner wheels to give you increased grinding abilities.  If you would like to try a freestyle set up (Outer wheels and inner grind blocks instead of inner wheels) you can purchase the GC Formula 1 freestyle h-block and replace your GC Formula 1 flat h-block with it. These GC frames can be used to replace any UFS frames that you are currently using.  (All of the frames that come on the skates we sell and all of the aftermarket frames we sell are UFS compatible. UFS stands for, "Universal Frame System") The Ground Control Formula 1 frame system is the perfect upgrade for those of you that want an improvement over the basic stock frames that come on a lot of aggressive skates or if you just want to give them a try to experience what GC has to offer aggressive skaters. i got those on my valo January 4, 2008 Reviewer: brandon Burnett from Lake Crystal, MN United States   ehhh i got those and they scary me first time, it's slippery as butter, durable hblock (nice it can be replace) and it's sweet and easy and fast to replace wheel and buttt those groove was okay but when you break in it will be nice. i guess. f1s December 26, 2007 Reviewer: Robert Mullen from calverton, NY United States   pros: slide nicely only need one allen key look good reversable no annoying metal spacers or any of that feel amazingly solid for a 2 peice frame cons: some what heavy, weigh about the same as my high lows with 3 urethane wheels in each frame (f1s only have 2 and some plastic antis) groove seams very very shallow. after some getting used to, and some break in it should be okay though cess slides feel strange over all as of now, the pros out weigh the cons nice work GC, i wasn't surprised. super good December 21, 2007 Reviewer: kyle hayes from colton, CA United States   ionno i was gunna get the feather lights but i think imma get these only because the hblock is replaceable and it would be like the bullets (when the bullets side slide plate wares down u can replace it but the hblock stays the same and is uncomfy...get what i mean) but with this it doesnt happen ...........this frame is the top of my xmas list Was this review helpful to you?
